About Padel Clothing

What padel clothing do you need?

There's no specific dress code and no need to buy outfits specially designed for padel - tennis or multisports clothing is ideally suited to the game. Our padel clothing section lists all kinds of clothing that's perfect for padel. You need shorts, sports tights or joggers that you can run around in, topped with a T-Shirt that gives you plenty of freedom of movement so you can swing your racket easily. Add a hoodie or sweatshirt for cooler matches. Don't forget sports socks to keep your feet snug and blister-free. As with all sports, it's a good idea to wear supportive underwear to minimise the wrong kind of bounce.

What padel equipment do you need?

To play padel, you'll need a racket per player and some balls. Wear padel shoes, tennis shoes or trainer and sports clothing that you can run and hit in comfortably. There are lots of other accessories you can add - from racket bags and wristbands to branded padel clothing and water bottles

How to dress when playing padel?

Dress in comfortable, supportive outdoor sportswear. If you're playing on a warm day you might only need a T-Shirt and shorts. If it's cooler or changeable, layer up with a hoodie, joggers, sports tights or sweatshirt. On your feet, wear padel or tennis shoes, or trainers with good support and grip.

What type of clothing is the most recommend for playing padel?

We recommend racket sports clothing - tops that are designed to give you a range of arm movement for swings and shots and stretchy bottoms that you can run and dart about in comfortably. Many padel players choose technical clothes with sweat wicking properties, to help keep cool and dry. You want clothing that's snug rather than tight, for free movement. Choose garments that fit closely but comfortably, so there's no chance they'll get caught on anything or trip you up while you're playing.
