In 2025, Tecnifibre is proud to unveil the Curva, a ground breaking innovation that marks the first time a brand has quantified padel racket performance. Leveraging the advanced research capabilities of their TecniLab—the same facility that drives the design of our world-leading tennis and squash rackets—they’ve developed a revolutionary new padel racket technology that has been proven to enhance the performance of 91% of players.
Optimising Trajectory for Peak Performance
The difference between a skilled and a top-level padel player often comes down to the trajectory of the ball. Elite players generate low rebounds that force their opponents to bend with every shot. The key to achieving this is mastering the negative angle—striking the ball with a downward trajectory over the net. In contrast, intermediate players tend to hit with a slight upward arc. To help players of all levels get closer to that optimal trajectory, we introduced X-Speed Technology in the Curva range.
Tecnifibre's innovative X-Speed design features strategically placed perforations across the racket face and side, optimized with air channels that guide the racket through the air for superior penetration and increased speed. Thanks to precision testing with Trackman radar technology, we can confidently state that 91% of players who tested the Curva saw significant improvements in ball trajectory, bringing their shots closer to the negative angle.
The Curva Range: Precision, Power, and Versatility
The Curva collection offers four distinct rackets—Power, Speed, Soft, and Club—designed to suit a wide range of playing styles. All models feature a tear-drop shape, delivering the perfect balance of power and control.
• Curva Speed is designed for control and quick manoeuvrability. It features a reactiv foam core and 16k carbon for a more controlled feel. With a 355g weight and neutral balance, this racket excels in fast-paced play, offering superior speed and precision.
Unmatched Durability and Technology
In addition to the X-Speed technology, the Curva range is built with Tecnifibre's patented X-Top Technology, which incorporates 100% active fibres in the 4 to 8 o’clock positions of the racket. This ensures exceptional durability, even under intense play. The top of the racket is reinforced with aramid fibres—known for their use in bulletproof vests—providing unmatched shock resistance. To further enhance the racket’s performance, a PTFE (Teflon) coating ensures smoother contact with the floor and walls, improving abrasion resistance and increasing the racket’s lifespan.
Spin, Precision, and Control: Elevating Your Game
Every Curva racket (except the entry-level Club model) also incorporates Spin Skin Technology, which optimises ball grip for enhanced spin and control. Additional features include side angular edges from the yoke to the 2 o'clock position, which increase racket acceleration, and Progressive Hole Diameter. This advanced hole design features varying sizes—smaller at the centre for pinpoint accuracy, and larger toward the edges for greater tolerance on off-centre hits.
The Curva range is finished with a sleek, premium gloss design and a padded Tecnifibre hand strap for added comfort.
