Women's padel: the rackets the pros use

Feature image with article title and female pro padel player

The women's pro padel circuit is highly competitive and produces electrifying matches between elite athletes. Every one of them plays with a padel racket carefully chosen and trusted to complement their ferocious padel skills.

Let's talk about the rackets used by some of the biggest names in women's padel. We'll unpack the features and potential of their top choices so you can decide who to emulate on court when you buy one of these top calibre, pro-endorsed racket.

Paula Josemaria

The current world number one, Paula Josemaria has dominated the world's best tournaments for many years now using various incarnations of this ever-evolving racket. The HEAD Motion Extreme is a diamond shape racket which favours Josemaria’s attacking style from the right side of the court. It features HEAD’s ‘extreme spin’ technology, enabled by a textured surface that gives players like Josemaria a lethal edge when it comes to spin and control.

Delfi Brea

Argentinian Delfi Brea goes from strength to strength as one of the most inspiring female players on the tour in recent years. Her style has evolved into a more attacking style, despite playing on the right side of the court, which is typically suited to players who are more passive. She is a truly modern and adaptable Padel player. The Bullpadel Vertex W is a perfect fit for her gameplay, with its diamond shape for extra power and a subtle, head heavy balance that enables Brea to harmonise her attacking and defending strengths. It's ideal for strong, versatile players.

Marta 'Martita' Ortega

High profile Spaniard Martita Ortega holds a record as the youngest player to finish a year as number one in the Premier Padel rankings, at just 22 years old. She has been using Adidas rackets since 2016, one of the longest standing relationships between player and brand in premier padel. Her Cross It Light racket is a round shape racket, unusually for top level players. It gives a large sweet spot and has more weight towards the grip of the racket, which gives great control. It's a winning match for Ortega, a right sided player who likes to build up the point and control rallies. If you play with cool logic as well as powerful hands, this agile racket could be your secret weapon too.

Sofia Araujo

Sofia Aráujo is one of the few Portuguese players in the top 50 in the Premier Padel rankings. She switched to SIUX for the 2025 season, propelling the brand into the limelight. The SIUX Valkyria is her racket of choice. It’s much lighter than most others weighing just 350g. It’s also a medium balance, reducing strain on the arm when playing. Its teardrop shape is perfect for control both at the front and the back of the court. This could be our favourite all-round racket: it's great for endurance, consistency and devastating accuracy in a variety of shots.

Jessica Castello

Jessica Castello has partnered some of the best players in the world - currently she's playing with Aranza Osoro. In 2025, she switched her racket to the VOLT 950. This racket is a great fit for Castello’s left sided game: it’s diamond shaped and head heavy with a ton of power. This racket also features a textured surface and VOLT’s Flexible shock absorption technology for some additional comfort. If you're a big hitter in the women's game, this one's for you.
