How to choose a Bullpadel racket

How to choose a Bullpadel racket

Introduction

Bullpadel is a world class specialist padel brand. More and more players in the UK and all over the world are discovering the playability and power of Bullpadel rackets, for all levels from beginner to professional. In this guide, we explain the Bullpadel range and help you decide which Bullpadel racket could be your perfect match.

The Bullpadel range of padel rackets explained

The racket collection consists of five pro-line racket collections. Bullpadel's Hack and Vertex collections are the most advanced and refined performance models, alongside the Neuron, Elite and Flow ranges. The Ionic and Hack 02 ranges are designed for intermediate players. The BP10, Flow Light, K2 Power and Indiga are collections to suit improving players or those who seek a lighter racket.

This season's range highlights include the Vertex 04, with superior performance output and new CurvActiv technology. This is the bestselling performance racket of all time, now offering more power, comfort and aerodynamics than ever before, with great versatility to suit all players. Take a look at Fede Chingotto's racket of choice, the Neuron, featuring new Wave technology to provide better energy return and stability. The Hack 03 is used by tour player Pacquito Navarro, who enjoys the power availale from the stiffest racket in the Bullpadel range.

The Vertex 04 Comfort brings extra comfort to the new frame, while the Ionic Power padel racket combines fibreglass and carbon to deliver stiffness for higher playability but with a little extra comfort and flex. The K2 Power is Bullpadel's most popular beginner racket, chosen by many improving padel players for its highly responsive power and comfort.

There are also outstanding lighter models with the Flow and Elite women's rackets, which are excellent for greater handling and performance.

What to consider when you're choosing a Bullpadel racket

- Head shape - how do you prioritise power vs control in your game? Select a diamond shaped head for maximum power, a round shape for more control or a hybrid shape for a balance
- Play frequency - if you're playing a lot, you'll need great durability and performance from your racket. If you play 1-4 times a month, we recommend spending £80-140. If you play once or twice a week, look at rackets from £150-200+. If you're on the court more than twice a week, invest in a top end racket at £170-265+
- Racket weight - light rackets (345-360g) give better manoeuvrability, whilst standard weights (360-375g) generate more power
- Comfort - consider the Vertex or Hack Comfort models if you want to reduce shock and maintain high performance. Look for lower carbon counts of hybrid fibreglass frames for improved ease and comfort - we recommend Bullpadel's Ionic models
