Introducing the all-new Slash range by Tecnifibre for 2025, developed in collaboration with world number 1 Mostafa Asal (August 2025) to complement his powerful playing style.

Mostafa’s signature 120 racket is engineered for players who can generate substantial power, providing maximum control. The traditional round head has been modernised with aerodynamic lines to increase speed and angled edges to enhance stability. The 120 model features Yoke Control technology, with a smaller, rounder 461cm² head size for greater control, an enlarged yoke area for added stability, and a thinner shaft for refined precision. New for 2025 is the use of Stabyl technology above the handle. Underneath the carbon is a stiff mesh to reinforce the shaft, replacing an inactive material with an active material, providing more stability at ball impact. 

The Slash range incorporates revolutionary X-Top technology, inspired by the success of the Carboflex series endorsed by Mohamed El Shorbagy. This patented technology removes the inactive plastic material from the top bumper, replacing it with 100% active fibres. The use of Aramid fibres—also used in bulletproof vests—woven into the graphite structure, provides maximum shock resistance, while a PTFE (Teflon) treatment enhances sliding effects on walls, offering exceptional abrasion resistance. The X-Top has been extended to the 4 and 7 o’clock positions on the Slash rackets, providing even more protection.

A standout feature of Tecnifibre rackets is that they come pre-strung with premium Tecnifibre string. The Slash range pairs perfectly with the 305 string, a favourite among generations of top players. It features PU400 technology, fully saturating the thousands of fibres with polyurethane (PU) to achieve 400% elasticity. This results in explosive power, unparalleled comfort, and the highest levels of control.
